Binary Group Supports 2009 Race for the Cure and Surpassed Fundraising Goals

Arlington, VA, June 11, 2008 - For the third year in a row, a hearty group of Binarians participated in the 2009 Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure on June 6, 2009. The 5K was kicked off by Vice President Biden and winded the streets of downtown Washington DC.

Team Binary exceeded their fundraising goal by 150%. The funds will contribute toward the advancement of breast cancer research, detection and awareness.

The largest team yet, Team Binary was comprised of breast cancer survivors, supporters, families, and also those was wanted to pay tribute to family members whom they had lost to breast cancer.
