Binary Group is Acquired by Market Leader Property Condition Assessments
Acquisition Will Significantly Expand its Asset Management Services for Federal Government Customers

August 1, 2024, Brea, CA – Property Condition Assessments, LLC (PCA), a multi-disciplined architectural and engineering consulting firm and one of the top commercial leaders in property condition assessments throughout the U.S. for more than 27 years, has acquired Binary Group, Inc. (Binary) through a stock sale.

Binary is an award-winning, woman-owned small business that has served the federal market since 1996, offering capabilities in asset management, data and analytics, and enterprise resource planning and business systems support. Through this acquisition, Binary’s federal customers will greatly benefit from PCA’s extensive resources, enabling the company to execute large and complex facility condition assessments, field surveys and inspections, and other real property projects, as well as provide expanded services in environmental, energy, and construction consulting.

“The acquisition of Binary aligns with our strategy to expand our customer base in the federal market,” said John Luna, President of PCA. “With Binary’s twenty plus years of successfully supporting Department of Defense customers with comprehensive asset management services, it was a natural fit to combine forces.”

PCA’s Executive Vice President, Dania Philips, will assume the role of President at Binary and Karen Vogel, Binary’s Chief Revenue Officer, will continue to lead the business development and marketing efforts for the company.

“Binary has built a solid reputation as a reliable teaming partner with the leading architecture and engineering firms, including Jacobs, Stantec, Woolpert, and Parsons,” stated Karen Vogel, Binary’s Chief Revenue Officer. “This acquisition allows Binary to ramp up quickly with the right expertise for any size facility condition assessment or other asset management project, offering our teaming partners and government customers even more value.”

“We are thrilled to work with the Binary team to expand business in federal, state, and local government,” said Dania Phillips, Binary’s President. “The contracts and strong relationships Binary have established with large and small contractors, combined with the expanded capabilities and architecture and engineering expertise from PCA, will provide rapid, comprehensive and sustainable results for our customers.”
